This policy explains what information Park Loft (“we,” “us”) collects through theparkloft.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. Park Loft is an event venue at 505 Brewer Avenue, Oceanport, New Jersey 07757.
What we collect
Event inquiries. This website has no forms of its own. When you click “Plan your event,” you go to our inquiry page on Tripleseat, the event-management service we use. The details you enter there, such as your name, email, phone number, event date, guest count and notes, are collected by Tripleseat on our behalf and sent to our events team. Tripleseat handles that information under its own privacy policy.
Email and phone. If you email or call us, we keep what you send us so we can reply and plan your event.
Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical details when a page is requested, such as your IP address, browser type and the page visited. We use these logs only to keep the site running and secure, and they are kept for a short time.
Cookies and tracking
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use our website, such as which pages are viewed and which links are clicked, including our inquiry, phone and email links. Google Analytics uses cookies and receives information like your IP address, browser and device type. We use this only to improve the site and our marketing, under Google’s privacy policy. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser. We do not use advertising pixels on this site.
Our Contact page shows an embedded Google Map. When it loads, Google may set its own cookies and receive your IP address, under Google’s privacy policy. Links to Instagram, Tripleseat and Google Maps take you to those services, which have their own policies.
How we use your information
- To answer your inquiry and plan, book and hold your event
- To send you information you asked for, such as availability and pricing
- To keep the website working and secure
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business, such as Tripleseat, our website host and our email provider, or when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and event records for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet tax, accounting and legal requirements. After that, we delete them or make them anonymous.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or give you a copy. You can also ask us to stop sending you marketing email at any time, using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. New Jersey residents have these rights under the New Jersey Data Privacy Act, and we honor the same requests from everyone.
To make a request, email Events@TheParkLoft.com or call 732.790.5775. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will respond within 45 days. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision.
Children
This website is meant for adults planning events. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to manage it is limited to our staff. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive information, such as payment card numbers, by email.
